Introducing New Links in Ethiopia...
Earlier this year CMS Ireland secured nearly €500,000 from Irish Aid towards the development of a new mission and development centre in Gambella, Ethiopia.
Gambella is one of our newest partnerships and in the upcoming edition of inMission magazine we begin to explore why these links are significant for the local church…
'Hadithi' - A Night for Sharing Stories...
At the end of November we are hosting two Focus Nights which will give members and supporters an opportunity to engage with CMS Ireland’s work in Kenya.
The evenings will be taking place on the 26th and 27th November in Lisburn and Enniskillen (more details below) and the theme for both evenings is ‘hadithi’ – a Kiswahili word meaning ‘story’.

CMS Ireland Calls on Churches to Respond to DR Congo Crisis...
As violent clashes continue in DR Congo – despite attempts to enforce a ceasefire – CMS Ireland is calling on the church in Ireland to act.
Within a week of the conflict beginning CMS Ireland had committed £3000 to assist its partners in Bukavu diocese and is now urging the church in Ireland to get behind the relief effort.

Nepal – Sundar Dhoka Church: Pray for the leadership team as they continue to provide direction for the church and the outreach programmes in the midst of various challenges and changes. Pray that God will give them wisdom and that they will be united and encouraged in their purpose.

DR Congo and Our Limited Attention Span...
So I haven’t posted for a month or so – please forgive me!
I’ve enjoyed a couple of weeks off and since my return have been pretty much immersed in helping to produce the upcoming edition of our latest magazine. It’s looking good and should be available for download next week.
While I’ve been away it’s struck me how quickly things change…
